ASIAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE

PHILLIPINE PATRIOTS AIMS FOR ABL CROWN

The Philippine Patriots aims for nothing less than the Asian Basketball League crown as they face Indonesia’s Satria Muda Brit Ama in the best -of-five championships series that will be held at the Ynares Sports Arena, Shaw Boulevard, in Pasig City.

Having the home-court advantage, the Patriots is not taking this fight lightly, knowing that Indonesian’s Satria Muda has a complete line-up of hardworking and disciplined players.

“Indonesian’s Satria Muda is one of the best teams around in this tournament and a team to beat,” said Gabe Freeman, who is a best import awardee during his heyday in PBA when he played in San Miguel Beer.

During their previous clashes, the Patriots beat the Indonesians 3 times, but that is not an assurance that they will beat them again. “It’s going to be another level of play for both of our teams, WE ARE IN THE FINALS!” Wainright said, during the interview at the PSA forum held recently at Shakey’s U N Avenue branch.

Indonesians import Nakiea Miller and Alex Hartman stands in the way of the Patriots in their first-ever title aim in the Asian Basketball League. These two imports are very fast and very aggressive who scores 2-digit number in almost every game, using their speed and agility, the Patriots will surely has a team-to-beat this ABL final season.
