Nissan Motor Inc. introduces another evolution with the coming of the all-new Nissan X-Trail CVT. The all-new X-Trail combines functionality, comfort, and style to give Filipino consumers the best value product to fit their lifestyle. It suits the market’s fast-paced, yet balanced lifestyle–consumers who work hard but play hard.
“The coming of the all-new Nissan X-Trail CVT, as well as the other models that we bring in, is a testament of our commitment to our customers.  Commitment to deliver the best value product that will fit their needs and wants.  The all-new  X-Trail is packaged just like that – a vehicle that will respond to the consumers’ lifestyle needs supported by features that will provide them ease, comfort, pleasure, and safety,” shares Allen Chen, president and CEO of Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc.
The X-Trail CVT’s design was inspired by the designs of the toughest and authentic SUV in Nissan’s product line-up.  One might find it similar to X-Trail’s earlier models, that’s because the chief designer maintained that tough and functional features known to the X-Trail. Based on the comprehensive research among first generation X-Trail owners, they loved their car so much that they did not want to change a thing.  Hence, the all-new X-Trail applies the styling concept “function oriented design” intended to appeal rigidness, comfortable roominess and good visibility leading to good maneuverability. The all-new X-Trail CVT boasts a new chassis and new body, and new features to make the new model attractive to the new generation of buyers.
Driving pleasure guaranteed
The all-new Nissan X-Trail CVT features the XCVT (Xtronic Continuous Variable Transmission) known to Nissan that guarantees drivers a smooth driving experience.  Whether for city driving or on a challenging terrain, the Xtronic CVT provides smooth gear change to suit customers’ needs for more natural, powerful sensation of acceleration, which means lesser fuel consumption.  This means, a stress-free “no-shift-shock” for that driving comfort.Powered by QR25DE in 2.5-litre engine displacement, the all-new  X-Trail is built to provide high engine torque and output.  The improved QR engine was designed to improve combustion and optimize performance.  It also generates lower noise and vibration.  This gutsy QR engine with twin overhead camshafts delivers peak performance of 170 hp of power and maximum torque of 230Nm.
With the all-new Nissan X-Trail CVT, one is sure to experience comfort and driving stability as it is built with a newly developed suspension system designed in Europe.  The new suspension system responds to the condition especially on a bumpy road and long driving.  Its front adopts high caster strut for straight line stability at high speech cruising while its rear adopts a multi-link system for optimum luggage space and driving stability.

How does one put out a variety show with a cast of over fifty talents from ages four to forty? More importantly, how do you manage rehearsals that run across school work, office deadlines, client meetings or family outings? A recipe for disaster, one may conclude, but not over at John Robert Powers. For more than two decades, the personality development school has harnessed talents from its pool of students and graduates into a bi-annual, fully-produced showcase that has even spawned careers for some of today’s celebrities on film, small screen and even fashion runaway.

But more than keeping an eye on the limelight, John Robert Powers (JRP) mounts the showcase to provide the students with an avenue to further express their individuality and innate talents in fashion, music and performing arts with grace and bravura that can only come from true self-confidence. Participating in a full production like the JRP showcase immerses students in month-long workshops and coaching sessions that led up to the showcase performances last January 15, in RCBC theater, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.

For 2011, John Robert Powers International presents “Real Fame Unleashed” to showcase students as they reveal their talents in stage acting, singing, hosting fashion print and runaway modeling, dancing  and even  TV Commercial acting.  For this edition, showcase segment directors include Dingdong Eduque and Ingrid Nieto for singing; Yvette Manale for dancing; Issa Litton and Marybeth Nave for hosting; Onyl Torres for stage acting; and Dave Fabros for fashion print modeling and TV commercial acting. Runaway choreographer is Ning Corteza. Technical Director is Raymund Recto and Over-all Production Manager is Gabby Reinoso. Sponsored by Professional Artist Cosmetics, Athena Clothing and Cinderella (Naf  Naf, OshKosh B’Gosh and Meg Clothing). For inquiries, please call JOHN ROBERT POWERS at Makati 892-9511, Quezon City 9270465 or Alabang 6950052.

If At First You Don't Succeed....
~~ Author Unknown~~

Failure doesn't mean - "You are a failure,"
It means - You have not succeeded.
Failure doesn't mean - "You accomplished nothing,"
It means - You have learned something.
Failure doesn't mean - "You have been a fool,"
It means - You had a lot of faith.
Failure doesn't mean - "You don't have it,"
It means - You were willing to try.
Failure doesn't mean - "You are inferior,"
It means - You are not perfect.
Failure doesn't mean - "You've wasted your life,"
It means - You have a reason to start afresh.
Failure doesn't mean - "You should give up,"
It means - "You must try harder.
Failure doesn't mean - "You'll never make it,"
It means - It will take a little longer.
Failure doesn't mean - "God has abandoned you,"
It means - God has a better way for you.

All persons, no matter how big, make mistakes. But history
teaches us that big people refuse to falter because of their
mistakes. Henry Ford forgot to put a reverse gear in his first
automobile. Edison once spent over two million dollars on
an invention which proved of little value. The person who
makes no mistakes lacks boldness and the spirit of adventure.
They are the ones who never try anything new; they are the
brake on the wheel of progress. Remember, a mistake becomes
an error only when nothing is done to correct it .....
