13TH Pacific Region Investment Conference/APAFS Investment Conference Envisions an Optimistic Economy for PH, Gathers Investors and Top Finance Managers Together

Now on its 13th year, the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) will be holding its Annual Pacific Region Investment Conference (PRIC) on November 7 and 8, 2013 at the New World Makati City Hotel, Manila, Philippines.

APAFS has again partnered with top financial associations in the Philippines namely Association of Development Financing Institution in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), CFA Society of the Philippines, Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and Trust Officers Association of the Philippines to co-host the Pacific Region Investment Conference. This partnership aims to continue to serve as an avenue in equipping finance professionals with standards of fiduciary care, imparting investment principles and solidifying the knowledge of key decision makers in the industry about investment and the vitality of fiduciary studies.

Envisioning an even more optimistic economic growth in the Philippines, APAFS believes that the country is the best venue to hold its 13th PRIC to expand and equip both professionals and investors in the knowledge of fiduciary studies. In line with this, APAFS together with its partners deem the Philippines as one of the top investment countries today and supporting that growth, APAFS shows its support through the conference.

APAFS also continues its partnership with fi360™ and offers on its third year the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Training Program on November 5 and 6, 2013 at the New World Makati City Hotel, Manila, Philippines. The AIF® Training Program gives attendees the ability to earn the first and only designation that demonstrates knowledge and competency in the area of fiduciary responsibility—the AIF® Designation.

APAFS is also bringing again the Fiduciary Essentials Certificate Training Program on November 4th, 2013. The FE Certificate Program is a one day, class room- based course, specifically designed for high level investment stewards, and provides the essentials for trustees, advisors, attorneys, and accountants on how they can improve their knowledge of their role as prudent fiduciaries, and to minimize their personal liability.
