NBA sharp shooting center legend Sam Perkins
recently visited Manila to help promote the upcoming NBA Global Games 2013
which will take place at SM Mall of Asia arena on (10-10-13) October 10, 2013.
With 100 more days left from the time of
announcement, Sam Perkins, who himself is a part of the visiting Indiana Pacers
executive committee confirmed their team participation for the NBA pre-season
games between Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets. This game will be the league’s
first pre season games in the Philippines and the Southeast Asia.
As the NBA Global Games progresses, eight NBA teams
will see action in eight different cities in six countries this coming October
wherein Manila will be its first venue. The NBA teams that will be
participating in this tour are the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los
Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers,
Houston Rockets and the Washington Wizards.
As the scheduled date (10-10-13) quickly approaches,
quite a number of tickets for the NBA Global Games has been bought already and few tickets are left.
