Investing in the Youth as Partners in Development

In my recent event, I was able to attend a conference with the title of “Investing in the Youth as Partners in Development”  which aims to help and give aid to our less fortunate countrymen belonging to the poorest and located at the farthest region of our country. Though I came very late in that event, I was able to attend one of their break-up groups that deals with the issue about our economy and how to alleviate poverty that I considered a disease not just in our country, but in every country including the rich
countries of the world. (Maybe you will ask me why is poverty present even in rich countries—my answer is simply because … there are always poor people present even in rich countries.) During the talks of the speakers, they tackled the principle of multiplication wherein what successful, viable and doable program that others were able to accomplished—we just need to duplicate it. And by doing that, we will be able to promote the sense of entrepreneurship in different parts of our country and lessen the number of our Filipinos going abroad.
