A Night of Musicale at the 22nd Awit Awards
For over two decades of existence, Awit Awards continues to recognize the Filipino performing artists for their exceptional works in the music industry, as it held the 22nd Awit Awards at the Arena in San Juan City
The awards night was filled with lively music from the veteran singers like: Rico J. Puno, Haji Alejandro and Rey Valera to the new ones, in the likes of Richard Poon, WCOPA grand winner Ralph Salazar and the ever lovely Princess who rendered a couple of country music songs.
The 22nd Awit Awards was hosted by actor/singer Piolo Pascual and comedienne Eugene Domingo and was made possible by the Philippine Association of Recording Industry (PARI), the oldest music award giving body in the Philippines
