1^st  MTRCB  AWARDS FOR  TELEVISION

For over two decades of existence, Movie and Television Review and Classification Board held its first ever MTRCB Awards Night  for Television recently at  the Gateway Mall, Cinema 5 in Araneta Center in Cubao.

Beautiful gowns and shining barongs added color in the said event that was attended by different  personalities from the field of politics, media and entertainment.

This awards night was spearheaded by no less than by the chairwoman of MTRCB herself, Ma. Consoliza Laguardia with the cooperation of the agencies board of trustees.

The event was hosted  by the chairman of Optical  Media Board Edu Manzano together  with Ms. Jackie Aquino, who is also a part of the MTRCB’s Board of Trustees who served as judges in selecting the rightful winners of the said awards night.

Through the years, MTRCB’s mission as a government  agency, remains true in serving the Filipino public as a movie and television regulatory board  not only confined in reviewing and classification, but more importantly serving as a prime catalyst of positive change by helping the industry become globally competitive and recognizing the importance of T V and Movies as INDISPENSABLE TOOL FOR MORAL RECOVERY AND NATION-BUILDING.
