With so much damage
piracy has contributed to the world’s economy, billions of dollars are lost
yearly on a global scale affecting 7% of the world’s trading activity and 4.8 %
of the Philippines gross domestic product (GDP) thereby, putting a lot of jobs
in jeopardy in the copyright, media and film industry.
