Caronia Music Festival: A Celebration of Sound, Color & Passion



Today’s generation of young individuals live in a world where it is easier to go out and be inspired with the colors of life and the sounds its wonders make. This kind of inspiration then serves as their fuel to show the world who they are, celebrate their passions, and find strength to chase after their own dreams.


As such, Caronia, the nail care brand of the hip and trendy, found a way to reach out to these young and spirited individuals, and bring them together in celebration of life, music, and the wonderful colors found in between. To do this, Caronia presents the Caronia Sound of Color Music Festival.

The culmination of the brand’s Sound of Color campaign, the Caronia Sound of Color Music Festival aims to showcase the talent, the originality, the creativity and the flair of five distinct bands that came out on top of the I Love Caronia Jingle Contest. This contest aims to search for the best band to make the most creative rendition of Caronia’s jingle “Sharing your Passion.”

Part of the final five acts in the festival is Felicity, a talented pair out to show the audience how their own brand of artistry can turn the typical into something extraordinary, as evidenced by their original take on the Caronia piece. Another is Assets in Demand!, a band that stood united despite coming from different backgrounds, only to tune themselves into one beat, the beat of incredible sound.

Katrina and Nicole, the two girls that make up Undecided, are set to capture the crowd’s hearts with their impressive and unique rendition of the Caronia jingle, while Merry Days, with their experience in doing covers of Japanese songs, is out to prove everyone how great a performance is when given an ounce of creativity and passion. Lastly, Claire, a band named after an independent Filipina artist known for her soft and relaxing music, delivers a hip, fun, and upbeat version of the Caronia jingle.

Chosen from a number of talented acts all vying to rock the main stage with their passion and skill, these five finalists battle it out in hopes of winning the grand prize of P70,000 in cash plus a trophy. The finalists also perform alongside some of the most famous bands in the music scene today. These acts include Banda ni Kleggy, Gracenote, and none other than Calla Lily.

With The Sound of Color campaign, Caronia is combining the dazzling beauty of color with the intensity of sound to present women with an infinite number of possibilities with which they can creatively express themselves. With over 72 bright and trendy shades, Caronia highlights its nail polish collection as tools that allow women to embody the dynamic and vibrant nature of the different genres of modern sound.
