The
search for the very first Miss PIAP (2013) is now ongoing. According to the
Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP) President Ronnie Y.
Sy, Miss PIAP is an industry-wide search for a representative that best
exemplifies the qualities the association as the most active and trailblazing
printing association in the Asia-Pacific region.
The
search for Miss PIAP is open to all industry association members who are then
free to nominate a representative from their company to join the search. There
is no limit to the number of nominees and as such, PIAP is expecting an influx
of nominations from its very active members.
“We
are looking for someone who is single, with pleasing looks and personality,
between 18 to 28 years of age, at least 5’2” in height, conversant in both
Filipino and English and at least able to model casual, sportswear and formal
wear onstage,” says Sy, adding that the winning candidate is expected to hold
the title of Miss PIAP for at least a year.
Fabulous
cash prizes and products from various sponsors await the winner and the
runners-up, along with trophies, sashes and crowns. The association member who
sponsored the winning candidate will also receive a certificate of recognition
during the Finals Night to be held on September 20, during the Print
Philippines 2013 event at the World Trade Center.
At
present, the PIAP Print Philippines 2013 Secretariat is still accepting nominations
from its members. The last day for the submission of nominations is on August
15, 2013. Entry forms are available at the PIAP Secretariat. For enquiries,
