There’s nothing more rewarding in this life
than to help other people especially those who are really in need. And
this noble act of giving is what Teleperformance and it’s employees has
displayed when they lent a helping hand to the needy resident of Tanay Rizal in
constructing 50 houses in Teleperformance Citizen of the World Gawad Kalinga Village.
As part of Teleperformance corporate social
responsibility program… it’s officers donated an additional 7.5 million pesos
for the construction of more houses in Gawad Kalinga Village that will house
the poor resident of Tanay Rizal.
In celebration of it’s 3rd year
anniversary, Teleperformance has completed 50 homes in GK Village. And during
the program, Teleperformance president David Rizzo announced the additional 50
houses that their company will donate as part of their corporate social
responsibility program.
Just before the ground breaking started officers of
Gawad Kalinga together with the executives from Teleperformance and the Mayor
of Tanay, Rizal signed a contract for the additional houses Teleperformance
will construct at the site where they are seated.
The picture you can see above are just some of the
houses that Teleperformance built in Gawad Kalinga Village. You will see how
colorful these houses are and just enough to house a Filipino family.
It also has a loft wherein they can put a second floor; should they
decide to expand their houses.
Aside from the houses that they help built, they
also constructed a computer learning center with complete learning materials
that the children of this village can use. So, it’s really more than just
building houses, but more of a building of a community. And just outside this
learning center is the children’s playground where kids can play during their
break or after their schooling as you can see in the picture above.
Photo shows fourteen (14) of the beneficiaries who
received housing certificates from Teleperformance executives whom many of them are victims of the recent floodings that hit the city of
Tanay, Rizal.
