Bowlers from different parts of Metro Manila and as
far as Davao flocked together to compete for the finals of the 12th
SM Bowling Cup that was held recently in the newly-opened SM Bowling Center in
SM Fairview. There were hundreds who participated in this competition
representing different SM Bowling branches nationwide.
As the competition reaches its final leg, female
bowlers from Las Pinas and Bulacan are gaining ground compared to its male
competitors. And it turned out to be the female bowler from Las Pinas …
engineer Leonida Lagrisola got the edge and move to last round where she will
be facing the bowler from Cebu named; Roel Zuniga. And as they battle it out on
the floor, the male bowler garnered more strikes than the female bowler …
proclaiming him as the champion for the 12th SM Bowling Cup.
Mr. Roel Zuniga came all the way from Cebu who got
into bowling for 3 years and from then on his wit on the ball comes along. Mr.
Zuniga is a 43 year old employee of a computer shop who finds time to play bowling
with his friends when he finds time. And as a winner he will be taking home the
new Chervolet Cruze.
