In celebration
of its 25th Anniversary, World of Fun (WOF) launched a program that treats
less fortunate kids to free rides and other fun activities in selected WOF
outlets nationwide.
The “WOF Cares -
Fun Treat Program” started recently with 25 kids from the Alay Buhay
Foundation-Antipolo enjoying half a day of free games, arcades, and rides at
WOF Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall.
WOF Director
for Human Resources Susan Tagle said, “At World of Fun, we believe that
instilling family values and giving good memories to these children will help
them become better persons when they grow up. As a company, we have been
dedicated to bringing such timeless memories and experiences to Filipino
families nationwide for 25 years and they can trust that this will stay the
same for another 25 years and beyond.”
Alay- Buhay
Foundation Officer-in-Charge Mechelle Lozada expresses her gratitude to WOF for
sharing this milestone with the children of Alay Buhay. “I am deeply touched by
this gesture from World of Fun. With the difficulties that the kids and their
families may be facing now, opportunities such as these allow the kids to enjoy
their childhood and help remind them to always stay positive,” Lozada says.
