NIDO FORTIFIED SCIENCE CENTER TOGETHER WITH DISCOVERY CHANNEL SET THE FIRST-EVER URBAN CAMP

                                                               

Have you tried camping before? Maybe some of you do and some of you don't. Do you still remember when you and your friends went on hiking or mountaineering during your younger days or maybe when you were still on your grade school when you are still wearing your boy scout and girl scout attire... where your whole dress was in dark green color…with black wooden carabao head that is use to tie together your green handkerchief…..and a lot more.

What you will notice with those activities is that you still have to go on far away places to have a camp site and build a camp fire just to experience those thrills and excitement... with those towering trees, bushy and grassy surroundings around you, etc.,  but those has been a thing of the past to those who had been a part of the Nido Fortified Science Center and Discovery Channel Urban Camp and I'm grateful that I have been a part of it.

Nido Fortified Science Center together with Discovery Channel set its first-ever Urban Survival Camp not in a bushy, grassy and far away place, but right over here in the main City….at the SM Mall of Asia grass ground to be exact.

                                          

   

It has been a night full of activities…giving the veteran and neophyte campers the excitement and adventure of camping without going out of the noisy and polluted City. There were activities like; stargazing, night photography, outdoor cooking, scientific experiments, bonfire roasting, games, concerts and a lot more.

Being part of this Survival Camp is really a great outdoor experience on my part, not just because its my first time to camp and sleep outside my house, but more importantly the lessons I learned and the fun that I experience in being a part of this memorable event.
