Coming from a band doing gigs in different bars in the Metro, going to the mainstream arena of singing. This is what Rez Toledo better known as Somedaydream went through in his singing career. Rez started his career singing in bars and different places where he and his band are being invited until, his talent was suddenly noticed. And that simple yet profound event in his life gave way for him to be where he is right now.

Somedaydream style of music is a little bit different from the usual songs we used to hear from the other artist. Rez likes and play funky, pop and electro kind of songs that makes the listener move to their sit. Rez, as he is fondly called by his peers likes to play different gadgets especially his laptop where he usually plays, composes and arranges his songs.

  

Somedaydream has just recently released his self-titled debut album that features his two hit singles “Hey Daydreamer” and “Delivery Boys” plus four more tracks like “Prelude”, “Do-do With You”, “Sing This Song” and “Break” that are making waves on the air. The album also includes the acoustic version of “Hey Daydreamer” as an added bonus. And it is under the collaboration of MCA Music and Mecca Music owned by former vocalist 'Hale' who also serves as Somedaydream’s manager.

Rez is a 20 year-old Ateneo De Manila student is also a YouTube sensation whose dream is to touch people’s lives through music and with his fast rise to stardom, he couldn’t do much, but to humble himself and do more songs.

 

Somedaydream has a group of fans called “Dreamers” taken out from his song “Hey Daydreamer”. And this song was also used in a commercial on television for Cornetto ice cream.
